1) Stays in Cleveland.never wins a championship and his legacy is sealed.2) Go to NY/NJ.viewed as a traitor to make $$$ and feed his ego3) Go to Chicago.viewed as a traitor and wanting to be the next MJ4) Go to Miami.viewed as a traitor (but has an EXCELLENT chance of winning a championship)Which would you choose? One of the owners of the Cavaliers blasted LBJ for not staying. I’d like to know if he’s ever traded or released players in hopes of bettering his chances of winning? Does that make him disloyal?! LBJ took control of his own destiny in hopes of winning a championship. LBJ was in a no-win situation. If only other athletes would display that kind of selflessness. Claims LBJ was ‘disloyal’.
I told you then and I tell you now, this move is a marketing nightmare.Do you think fans in NY, Chicago, Cleveland, LA will buy products that Lebron endorses. Now that he’s done it, can’t you see why that advice makes no sense. He will be the most hated athlete, on the most hated team in America. He will be forever known as the wimp who bailed out on his team, and his city,to swing on the jock of DWade. Never again will he threaten Jordan’s leagacy. Never again will we threaten Kobe’ legacy, or Magic, or Bird’s or any athlete that had teams built around them. Jay, you adviced Lebron to go to the Heat a couple of weeks ago. No way. And as far as basketball is concerned, this move is the most illogical move that I have ever seen a professional athlete make.
Remeber in the New NBA its business first, loyalty is second. Cleveland had an opportunity to keep him and let it get away. Good move James I see Champions. Lebron did what was best for Lebron. Accept that he was the best athlete on that team and thank him for what he has done. Don’t forget about all the owners that traded star players just to get benefits. Why is it any different. In business does’t the company do what’s best for the company.
EVERYBODY ALWAYS GOT SOMETHING TO SAY NO MATTER WHAT HE DECIDED TO DO GET THE HELL OVER IT AND THE CLEVELAND OWNER SJOULD BE ASHAMED OF HIS SELF WITH THE COMMENTS GROW THE HELL UP PEOPLE!!!!!!!. ONE MAN CANT DO IT BY HIS SELF AND TWO GET THE HELL OVER IT AND JUST SUPPORT HIS CHOICE IF YOU TRULY LIKE LEBRON THAN IT DONT MATTER WHERE HE PLAY AND IF CLEVELAND WNATED HIM TO STAY THERE THEY SHOULD HAVE GOT HIM SOME HELP TO WIN A CHAMPION CHIP GAME KOBE GOT PLENTY OF HELP AND SO DO BOSTON SO I SUPPORT LEBRON AND WILL FOLLOW HIM WHERE EVER HE GOES.
I mean 1st off instead of saying ahey bron well give u what the heat r gonna give yo plus go get say boozer or make the bosh trade a reality, they just sat there and let free agency pass them by and now they yell at him. 2nd, dan Gilbert be glad you had someone to boost ur teams popularity if u had brought this guy some fricken talent to help him instead of a team of role players we prolly wouldnt have this situation so blame urself o and P.S the Cavs will never win a title with you there they didnt before bron they didnt with bron they wont without bron so consider urself prolly fired after this dreadful season. Cleveland is being a little too crazy, I mean i get it you just lost the only thing that draws ppl to cleveland, but you guys gotta understand that he would never fulfill the critics legacy of him needing a championship to be among the greats in cleveland. So really I cant blame lebron an oppurtunity like this comes around once in a lifetime ask KG, and is better to do it now instead of pullin a KG and hating the cavs cuz the management doesnt give him shit to work with and demanding a trade but only having a couple good yrs let.so longstory short lebron great move go win urself a title young man.
He had to make the best decision for Lebron as any of you would do with your life decisions. He doesn’t owe Cleveland a damn thing. He should be praised for that. Professional. And that’s the bottom line. This is not pop warner or flag football where you can be loyal with no repercussions. Lebron James took less money because he wants to win. And this bullshit about “keeping the city hostage” I pure nonsense. Not criticized by punks like Marriotti who suffers from little mans complex. Some of you need to grow up and step into the real. Or any of you either. He gave a lot more to Cleveland fans more than they gave him or anybody else in their lives. He doesn’t have to make decisions in a timely fashion for Cleveland’s sake. This is the NBA.
